Marlin had a really good day today (after a little bit of a rough day yesterday). We are working on the blog so he can make posts himself. I am sure his posts will be much more interesting than mine. This is the view from Marlin's chair at the clinic. Not much of a view but it could be worse.

Words for Marlin from his sister, Little Genie
When evening falls so hard, I will comfort you,

I'm on your side. When darkness comes
and pain is all around,
like abridge over troubled water,
I will lay me down. (Paul Simon)
I love you Marlin....little genie

Marlin - I LOVE the Blog but I so hate it is even having to be kept. All the pictures - they are great! I just wanted to send you my love and prayers - I've been surrounded with "the Cancer" for several years so I know what to do! I know our friendship goes back too many years to talk about and way too much time has passed without us seeing each other but I see your "little Genie" all the time and your sweet Mom and Dad so you know I keep up with you! You will get through this - my dad's phrase always was "it is what it is - can't go backward - only forward and always with a fight!" You hold a special place in my heart - always have - you were my first best "boy" friend growing up and I love ya. Thanks for keeping us all updated. Lisa (Norton) Miller - P.S. I won't keep signing that way - I wanted you to know who it is.
ReplyDeleteHey little brother! I'm so glad you were feeling better on Fri and Sat. You sounded better! Love the pic of you sleeping in our old room on Fairmont! Brings back some great memories. Snow in the winter, the creek in the summer. Remember when we drew a beard on Ken and cut my dolls hair? That stupid hair never did grow back. I keep telling the kids how we used to play with bricks and sticks but they still want Wii games. Sigh....Love you!
